Chaffeur on J reward

I can see from searching on here that you get the chauffeur drive if upgrading from coach with miles. Can you tell me if you get the chauffeur if you on a full reward ticket in J? Booked it via CO Onepass if that makes any difference.

Cheers

If you are going to a destination where Chauffer service is available, then I do not see any reason why not!

Once the booking is done you should be able to retreive the booking on line and make the chauffer booking on line.

Manage my booking doesn't bring a chauffeur booking option up, unless I'm just missing it?

Bad news, don't get the chauffeur on bookings made through partner airlines FFP (in this case CO Onepass).

I dont think this is true. I got my chaffeur in NYC for a reward booked through CO onepass miles.
Did you call EK directly? Only they could do it for me. The website didnt show me the chaffeur option.

Yes, called EK. Took forever but they came back and told me it was no-go if booked through Onepass. I might try one more time...

Slightly off topic. How near to your departure can you book the car? I am hoping to upgrade with miles, but the miles (hopefully) clear a couple of days before my flight, so I can't upgrade before then.

a couple of days before your departure is more than enough time to reserve

I am traveling IAH-DXB-BLR in a OnePass J award next week. I called Emirates directly and they reserved airport pickup and drop-off in BLR. Despite two calls, I was informed that transit hotels in DXB are only available for revenue passengers. I will try again when I get to DXB for a transit hotel.
