2 class service on a 3 class config

NCL-DXB 24/09
DXB-NCL 28/09

Being a relative EK newbie, I had a right job matching up the seat plan showing on emirates MMB with seatguru. I know it's an A330-200 and I'm sure it's meant to be a 2 class config (don't think you can book NCL-DXB in F). However none of the seatguru maps matched what MMB was displaying.

My conclusion is that this flight is a 2 class service on a 3 class config. Is this possible? I've reserved my seats in the 'F' cabin for the outbound although they did not give me this option inbound.

Have I just struck lucky?

yes same happens on the BHX flight.
I enjoyed 2E, but you werent allowed to select it until check in or at airport

I've actually managed to book in F cabin on the outbound, if they honour it! Must be special Geordie privileges!

Nothing for the way back yet though.
