Standby on EK codeshare flight.

I have the following e-ticket.
DXB - BKK on EK-6200 ( operated by Thai on codeshare number )
BKK- DXB on EK-385
This is booked via emirates and i have emirates e-ticket with Emirates flight numbers, ( Business Class full flexible full fare )
If i arrive very early at the airport ( almost one day before ) and I’m able to get the Emirates flight to BKK ( EK-384, EK418 or EK372 ) can i go to the Emirates transfer desk and ask to be on standby for those flights and take it if seats are available ?
I would think that this should be possible as Emirates booked me on the codeshare flight with a Emirates flight number and ticket.
I'm willing to pay any fee or price difference if really necessary but with a full fare price I would except that I could change my flight without any problem.
Does anybody know what the rules are of changing flights from codeshare bak to Emirates.

depends on the fare rule really , some full fares do not allow anything but direct / one flight number , you would be able to change I would imagine , and pay the difference in fare plus their fee which is usually around USD20.00 for the change , but you should call them first to check on your exact fare rules.
I often travel on full 1st class fares btwn SYD and MRU but still have these type of fare fules applying to certain flt nbrs too . i.e if its an A380 etc
you need to pay anything up to AUD 600 extra.
If its an EK aircraft and its direct it should not be a problem though except the change fee USD20 or thereabouts

If your ticket is booked in J, you should be able to get on without penalty as long as there is J availability and as long as your fare rules allow any EK flight number. I suspect the ticket will allow any EK flight number - as the one that is usually excluded is, in fact, EK6200/1.

Cheers,

My booking from our company travel agent mentioned change and refund free.
And the price according Emirates website is the same for all three flight from DXB to BKK.

Paste the fare basis here. Someone will be able to decipher them for you.
Its usually the unreadable gibberish at the very bottom of the itinerary/e ticket

This ticket is booked via the travel department of my work.
I did not receive the actual e-ticket yet. ( they like to keep it back until the last moment  )
As soon i have the ticket i will post the booking fare code.
I will also inform them about the change option so maybe they can rebook me in the correct fare code if required.
Thanks for the helpfull infi till now. ^
