Will EK split a PNR?
 

One of my friends is flying with his brother next weekend JFK-DXB. I want to upgrade him (but don't have enough for his brother :() and I remember that it's either all or none in terms of upgrades on a single PNR. So, will EK happily split the PNR into two or will the TA have to do it (it was booked with a TA.)

you can call emirates and tell them to seprate the PNR's and then you could do the upgrade
