US to India - Additional Baggage question
 

I am traveling from MSP to MAA (Madras, India) on the following itn
MSP - JFK - Continental
JFK - DXB - MAA - Emirates

Since I am relocating to India I have 3 additional check in bags. I wonder how will I be charged for the additional bags. Would it be under CO's policy or would I be double charged for CO and Emirates as well?
Does anyone know about it?

i don't know about CO. but emirates will charge you $150 per additional bag (outside the 2 bag limit)

its $150-175 per bag. Check with emirates if u can send them by air cargo before hand by calling them up.

are you kidding me? send 3 peices of luggage by Air Cargo? thats going to cost you a leg.

really!! only if ur leg costs $251.06.
I just checked on skycargo.com for 3 Nos. of 62" size bags at 50 lbs each, MSP to MAA. it came out to $251.06.. just wasted 5 mins to do the darn thing...
