LHR-DXB on 777-300ER or A380?

Hi guys,

Need advice! I have a flight from LHR to DXB on 16th. Right now it is on the 20:40 flight, the aircraft is 777-300ER. However, I also have an option of leaving early and catching the 2:00pm flight which is on the A380. I havent flown A380 ever so pretty much want. My question is:

what to choose - A380 Economy over B777-300ER Economy?

Also, I have an option to upgrade to Business for this flight. In that case,

what to choose - A380 Business over B777-300ER Business?

Will appreciate any advice. Regards.

Answer A380 to both questions!

Better IFE, better seat and quieter. Also has the nice bar area (if you like a drink) in business class.

Hopefully they have got the service issues sorted out now.

Cheers,
Rick

Gandhi,

A380 definitely.

However, I still prefer the B77Ws Business Class, but on the other hand if you decide to fly Economy there's no real difference between the B77W or the A380.

Hope you find this information helpful,

Kind Regards,

Emiratespilot.

A380. you never know when you'll have the choice again so take the opportunity. In Y it's just like a wider 777 with almost straight cabin walls but quieter. I'm flying to DXB from GLA tomorrow and only 777 is available but I've done 380 so it's not worth flying to LHR for the big aircraft. In truth, in Y, that's the difference - just having done it...

Y is certainly wider on the 380, pitch and all the rest of the seat almost equal.
