Amenity Kit to DUS?

Hi all.. was wondering if someone here had experience with a biz flight from DXB to DUS and if they gave amenity kits.. I know the site (skywards or EK?) states that any night flights or flights over 7 hours.. and this has been hit/miss on some other flights..

I'll be leaving on the flight arriving at DUS at 19:40...7:05 flying time.

Thanks.

Because you have a daylight flight (EK57), there will be no amenity kits.
You will get amenity kits on return flight EK58.

just wanted to let anyone interested know.. when i made my booking yesterday.. they said that they weren't sure if amenity kits were going to be given out..however, if i needed one.. i could ask in the business class lounge and they would have no problem providing me with one.

Hmmm. Maybe that's true, but I've never seen any sign of amenity kits the the J lounge.

Expect blank looks from the lounge dragons when you ask :D

Cheers,
Rick

amenity kits

I have travelled gla-dxb several times and have not been given an amenity kit even though the flight is over 7 hours. however I phoned emirates and they assured me that amenity kits should/will be given out on my next flight. I am due to fly next week so shall let you know.

I doubt you'll get one. They don't tend to give them out on the afternoon/daytime UK flights. The only time you get one is on the overnight flight.

Cheers,
Rick

can you check if they are available at the lounge?

amenity kits

I will phone emirates but the lounge in gla is only BAA lounge and not dedicated emirates. I will ask in lounge on way back from Dubai. My previous experience of Terminal 1 in dubai doesnt inspire confidence but may be the new lounge will be better

amenity kit to DUS

Just returned gla-dxb. I asked for an amenity kit on the way out and the way back and was informed that it was only on night time flights. I told them that I had been told that they would be available but they only smiled and advised that toiletries were available in the toilets. There were toothbrushes, razors, combs, cream (eau de rochas) and even clothes brushes. Probably all you could want but not quite an amenity kit.
I forgot to ask in the lounge in Dubai.
