MLE-CMB.. does it exist?

Hi there.

I need to fly from MLE-CMB early this summer and seeing as there are 3 of us the total price with Sri Lankan came to £318 which to be honest is not a bad price although I noticed that EK has a flight between the 2 cities on its route map and also only charges 10k. I have 30k miles so though it might be a good idea to go with emirates.
Although I cannot not find any flights between CMB and MLE and when I search for a revenue ticket it always gives me MLE-DXB-CMB.
Does anyone know why emirates charges so few miles but doesn't seem to be operating any aircraft on this route?

Thanks ;)

According to my Emirates timetable there is an Emirates flight that operates on days 12467, depart MLE at 08:55, arrive CMB 10:50 using a 3 class 777.

Unfortunately I rang emirates and they said that the flight no longer exists!

I've taken EK between MLE and CMB on 3 or 4 occasions. Nice flights. It does look like they're missing!

It is still showing in the Emirates timetable (26th October 2008 to 25th March 2009), which was given to me by an Emirates FA.

The flight existed at the time of press (October) but has since been cancelled. I'm seeing CMB-MLE but not vv.

Website for Maldivian Airport Authority. You can download the airline schedule in excel. It differs by day. Maldivian and Sri Lankan have the most flights.

Still shows as 20k MLE-CMB in J on skywards website. Will EK honour this and book me MLE-DXB-CMB with no stopover in DXB?
