GLA being dropped?
 
I have been trying for the last two days on behalf of a member of my family to book a flight from GLA-DXB for next summer on the Emirates site.
All it comes up with is "Sorry, we were unable to price the requested flight. Please try again".

Also been trying the usual sites Kayak,ITA etc with no luck either, okay until summer then nothing. :confused: With the service doing so well I can't believe they are dropping it.

The Glasgow flight are still showing in Emirates' Inventory as of today (17DEC08) but with a new flight number from 29MAR09

Thanks for that but it's still impossible to book online. Why on earth would they change the flight number I wonder?

Yes, even with regular availability in Amadeus the flight is not showing up. But it's "hiding" when I go into their inventory which Amadeus has access to.

Just wait for another 24 hours and see if it'll appear tomorrow because Thursday/Friday in general is when the changes occurs.

There's a post from google group (See below) saying GLA may go 2 Daily but the flight schedule looks pretty much identical except a flight number change.

Not sure what's the fuzz about possible 2nd Daily

I saw the rumours also. For now KVS shows cancelled on a few dates I checked: Hmmmm :confused:

But on June 19, EK27/28 run and are bookable on the EK website.

All back to normal now on all dates.

They just seem to have changed the flight number for some reason.That's what caused the problems over the last few days. Now the question is why change the flight number after several years? :D

Good, but GDS isn't updated....still hiding in the inventories :rolleyes:
