Even with NZ$100 change fee the sale fare is less than the regular fare

Good point, i was tempted to fly business class and try out the new product ;-)

I wonder if they will do anything special for the launch from this end...

True and if there's a big delay then just cancel ... since the sale fare is cheaper anyway

I hope they do as, QF flew theirs in last Friday and IMHO the trans-Tasman leg is too short to enjoy the new J/F .... these will be best enjoyed on the 19hr DXB leg beyond Oz

Agreed, i would just like to check out the on-board lounge, services and IFE even if it is just a short flight across the ditch. The lounge is also enjoyable as well as the chauffeur driven service at both ends. But as you said you dont get to enjoy it as much as you would on a longer journey, no plans however for that

Does any-one know when or if EK does similar promotions flying from DXB to India ?

I'd like to go in May 2009 ... the current price for DXB-BLR F return is AED7330 or NZD 3700.

The only problem is the NZD is not very strong so I'm thinking of holding off on buying the tickets till a sale or closer to the date.

But on the other hand if this is a good price cos I'm buying early then I dont mind paying for the tickets

Can any-one shed light on what's best to do ?

Thanks
