Earliest Check-In time AKL
 

Just a quick question..

What is the earliest check-in time at Auckland Airport in my situation, flying on a 6pm departure flight. There are previous departures much earlier (3pm) so can I check-in at around 12pm-1pm, or will I have to wait til 3-4pm?

12PM Early check in, regardless of Flight or Class its all at the same check-in desks. Eventually they open F/J/Gold check-in counters also.

The Emirates Lounge opens at 12pm although hot food isn't out till atleast 1pm from past experience - last time i used the lounge the chef made me sandwiches anyhow.

The first flight leaves at 4:50pm (EK419). I believe check in opens at 1:30pm at the earliest (now that we are in the summer timetable ALA day light savings) at main counters but not sure where the 'early check in' is.....where is this rebound? I am intrigued!

Sorry i did not take into account day-light savings that just ticked over here in NZ, sorry about that. The Early check in is usually at counters 84-88 or something.

When i travelled between Nov 07-Jul 08 about a dozen times, early check in was always at 12pm (Mid day)

It may pay to give the Auckland emirates office a call

Chris - the last time i was at the airport in June flying out, i got there quite early and checked in at 12 and i got to the Lounge around 12:25pm and it was open :D

Can anyone give me an update re earliest check in time for EK at AKL now that the earliest departing flight is now at 1715 (I think - to BNE?)?

Am flying out to SYD on Sunday at 6pm, but have a connecting NZ flight from CHC earlier in the day & would like to know how early I can check in.

I'm in Business Class, if that makes any difference.

IIRC EK check in opens about 3 1/2 hours before the first departure.
