Manaia Lounge CHC
 

Did a search, couldnt find anything on it. But does the CHC lounge have WIFI avalible at all??

Also, is there any plans to open a proper Emirates lounge?

I was there a couple of days ago, and there is no wifi (but there are 2 computers & also a space for you to plug in your own laptop between these 2 pc's).

And no, currently no plans for their own lounge in CHC. I once asked & was told they would only do it if it went to 2 flights a day or more - and I can't see that happening anytime soon.

Actually there IS an ethernet connection.

The 2 PC's are set in a kind of "bar like" set up (with bar stools) along part of one wall. In the middle of the 2 PC's there is space for a laptop, an extra stool & an ethernet point. So surf away!

In the end I decided not to bother & just drank instead! :p

Assume this lounge will ultimately move to the to be vacated Qantas lounge.

Qantas has announced that they will be shutting their lounge on 1 Sep 09 and moving to a lounge operated by PlaneBiz (who presently operates the Manaia lounge)
