Emirates - It's Been a While

Hey guys, new to join the forums, although I have been reading various threads for a few months. I have a few (ok a lot) questions about Emirates as I will be flying them this summer and its been over 8 years since I've flown with them.

My flight will be Toronto -> Dubai in a Boeing 777-300ER, economy class.

Now I am overweight (currently working hard to lose it), and I have a few questions about what seats are good? Now leg room I am ok with, but what I am worried about is the seat width. I've read its 17 inches, and I have a feeling I might not fit into them. Are there any good seats in the plane that are a bit more spacious, or have moveable armrests (i'll be travelling with company, and they don't mind sharing a bit of the seat). Also are these seats strictly 17 inches wide, or do they give a bit of space? As well, anyone know how big those seatbelts are(length wise)?

Also I have a skywards membership question. I recently joined the program. Now this flight I am taking is paid for by someone else, however is it possible to get skyward miles onto my account?

Another question I have is regarding how full the aircraft normally is? My flight's on a weekday (monday to be precise) and does anyone know if the plane will be really full? I dun't know how popular this route (toronto->dubai) is as I have never flown it (normally I do toronto->london->dubai).

And my last question. Anyone have any suggestions for things that will help me pass a 13 hour flight (other than sleep)?
