EK Biz Class Seats
 

I am flying on EK 8 from LHR-DXB and EK 518 DXB-BLR. It appears that EK 8 has lie flat seats in business class, but for EK 518, it looks like the seats are the old business class seats. As a first time EK flyer I am looking forward to the Emirates experience in C/J.

I'm not so sure about that. Whilst Emirates is significantly better than any US carrier, I'd be hard pushed to turn down the proper flat bed on British Airways direct LHR-BLR flight!

Hi SULAX50, I've been flying from LHR to BLR via DXB in last October and back in November in J class.

The EK008 flight was at the time flown by a B777-300 not refurbished ... My colleague flew on this one and wasn't so much impressed ...

I personally flew on EK006 which was on a B777-300ER, still no lie-flat seats but ICE.

For the second leg I was on EK516 on a A330-200. Definitely not refurbished, no ICE but I've managed to get upgraded to First without asking ...

I take it that EK518 is on B777-200 ? In which case you would have ICE but most probably old cradle seats ...

I'm sure you will enjoy your flights, in-flight service is top notch.
