EK384 DXB-bKK
Recently booked a flight today consisting of BHX-DXB-BKK-DXB-BHX.
In a mixed class of outbound biz and return Econ. When i went and picked my seats i found that the EK384 segment had the 1st from of Biz stated as Row 7 through to Row 11 .. But on the seat maps it shows Row 7 or appears to be in its own cabin on the EK site when selecting seat's as showed row 8 as having Bassinets then Row 9 - 11 as normal seats. Seams a bit of a strange seat layout .... as only having one row of Biz then what appears a galley followed by main cabin. Is this a new config plane as unsure if this route is being upgraded to a 3 class route. Aircraft shown to operate is 773 not the 77W Any idea's .... As will be using me miles to upgrade on the rtn leg cheers stu |
Hi,
I've struggled with the config on the various EK 777's now and in the past.If biz class starts at row 6(held back for kiddies so not visible in MMB) it's a 3 class a/c with rows 6,7 then galley then rows 8-11. We fly LHR>>DXB>>BKK in Dec and two legs on 777/300ER one on 777/300 and finally A380. The 777 legs all show as 3 class in MMB(384 is not one of them by the way) hope this is of some help. |
BKK will be upgraded to a 3-class station. All BKK flights will be progressively upgraded to 3-class during 2008.

Emirates777 .... thanks for the info and that for sure will explain the reason then....
So look's like i will be in a smaller cabin featuring possibly 2 rows in biz rather than the main big one after the galley cheer s stu |
