Does anybody have info on when flights to BCN or MAD will commence??

They haven't officially announced any flights, they may not even start until 2009. Both are very eligible for flights by Emirates, indeed there is some speculation that EK will use either of them as a stepping to stone to Latin America. Is it Open Skies now between Spain & the UAE?

These flights in Emirates ideal world would already be running. Remember that the A380 delays have put a stopper on most airlines expansion. EK start A380 flights in August. These should displace B777s who will start new flights or displace Airbuses which will start new flights.

Expect by the end of 2009...
