UL free layover accommodation in Colombo
 

Hi FTers,

I have a quick question regarding my upcoming flight in December. I just bought a student ticket through STA on Srilankan LHR-BKK via CMB where I will have a 10-hour layover (arriving CMB afternoon and departing again after midnight).

Just checked some feedback on Srilankan and it seems they do provide free accommodation if the connecting time is 8 hours or more. At least this is stated on the airline website's reservation engine but, as I bought the ticket through an agent, would I also be eligible for it?

Could anyone confirm that free accommodation applies to all fare classes in economy and if I will have to contact the airline to reserve this accommodation in advance?
