Well Simon and Bluenose, that really doesn't suprise me although I'm very disappointed once again with this agent. We've used them before and they were great so obviously we went back to them, plus they do seem to have the best price for Emirates. The chap we dealt with before who was ultra efficient has now left and the one we are dealing with now does seem to continually give us duff information that we have to re-check and then he says "Oh yes, I was wrongly informed by so and so". Still, it's good to know that it's 60" pitch.

Can someone tell me before I join Skywards, Rick said in an earlier post "Yes, both join separately. You can then phone the Skywards office and have your membership numbers added to the booking." As we have booked and paid for tickets through a travel agent does this still apply as Skywards surely wont have a note of our booking if we haven't booked direct with Emirates - or have I got it wrong.

Thanks.

You need to give EK your six digit alphanumeric reservation number. They can then add your Skywards number.

Cheers

Thanks Sadiq. Where do I find the reservation number? When I've got that I ring the UK office of Emirates then?

Sorry to be a nuisance.

I can't even join Skywards at the moment, their website is playing up and when I click Join Now it wont go, all other buttons take you to an error screen :( Is there a phone number for Skywards (in UK) anywhere do you know? Maybe I can join over the phone.

Thanks again.

It depends on whether you have an e-ticket or paper ticket. See #16 on the Emirates FAQ.

If you are using firefox, switch to IE. For some reason Skywards doesn't work with firefox. You can join skywards via the Emirates office. The London phone number (if I remember correctly) is 0844-800-2777

Cheers

Thanks Sadiq. It will be an e-ticket so when it's received (I travel beginning November) I'll ring and get it sorted.

I'm using IE, maybe Skywards site is having a wobbler today. Will try again over the weekend, if I still can't get anywhere I'll try the number you've given me.

Again, many thanks for your help. Much appreciated.

You *do* get PJ's on the longer flights in F class. They're better than BA's IMO.

Cheers,
Rick

But they're talking about business.
