Gold Card/E-Gate
 

Hi,

My current gold card expires 28th February 2007, and I've got a trip booked to Dubai for 1st March 2007 - great timing :)

I assume that the E-Gate information is stored on the actual card, so does that mean that I'll have to get re-registered on my new card, or will the information get magically transferred?

If I do have to register the new card, would I still be able to use the old card in the E-Gate to enter the UAE?

Hi Rick

I had to take my new EK Gold to the Dubai Naturalisation Office in the terminal and they did it FOC for me.

I think you should be getting the new years replacement card anyday.

I got mine abt 10 days ago, too and used it thru EGate as normal the other day.
