The double upgrade

Hi. Though I'd share this with you all.

Flew to BNE last week having booked an award to escape the bad weather in NZ. Used 22,500 miles for return economy but when I arrived at check-in I was put in business class. Then, upon boarding I found someone in my seat so after some running around by the crew I was given a first class boarding pass. What kind of upgrade is that haha? Well I love Emirates just that extra bit now.

Lucky bugger :)

The only EK upgrade I've ever had is BKK-HKG... not really worth it.

Cheers,
Rick

AKL-Australia routes are doing well at the moment because of the time of year. Usually I'd say they're 60-70% full. I'm now in the EK lounge in BNE but no upgrade hehe . . . but the lounge is excellent :)
