Need Help With Ek Skywards Miles!!!

I am travelling with EK in June/July on the following routing LHR-DXB-MRU-DXB-LHR in Business Class. I am currently a Skywards Blue Member and need to know whether or not I would qualify for the Silver Tier?? as I should get 50% extra for travelling in Business

Can't you ask this in the EK forum?!?

Anyway: http://gc.kls2.com/cgi-bin/gc?PATH=L...OR=&MAP-STYLE=

Business will earn you 9,860 miles each way x 2 = 19,720 miles total. Silver requires 25,000 miles, so you will not make it from this trip.

Cheers

Would they not be classes as four different sectors as I am braking the journey in Dubai for 3days and also in Mauritius for 5days??? Also would I get the 50% extra for travelling in Business??

Yes they will but you would still get the same number of miles. 9,860 miles is the number of miles from LHR-DXB plus DXB-MRU, with the 50% added on too.

LHR-DXB = 3,414 miles
DXB-MRU = 3,159 miles
MRU-DXB = 3,159 miles
DXB-LHR = 3,414 miles

Flown miles = 13,146 miles

Business class bonus = (13,146 x 1.5)

Total miles = 19,719

Yes, see above.

This post should be on the Emirates forum anyway, even though it is all easy to find information on the Emirates website.

yes, if you go to www.skywards.com and go to "mileage calculator" You can enter London as an origin, Mauritius as a destination and select "business class." It will show you the number of miles that you will earn.

As others have noted, this may be of more interest to those in the EK forum than it would be to Mileage Runners,so let's move it over there.
