First Emirates flight -- a++
 

Wanted to tell all you Skywards members how jealous I am of your membership and miles. Just finished my first every flight with Emirates from JFK-DBX-Seychelles Business Class and it was wonderful! Service, accomodations, and food were terrific. If I had to come up with one improvement it would be the control for the seat -- too many buttons and I never did figure it all out. I'm usually on UAL and it is a poor cousin indeed to Emirates service. Liked it so much have already booked a flight next year.

I don't think UA and EK are even remotely related!

It's almost insulting to use the word United and Emirates in the same sentance. Absolutely no comparison. Bonnerbl, I'm glad you were able to experience a real airline. I can't wait for EK to start IAH service and I fantasize of the day that EK gets domestic USA traffic rights, allowing me to ditch the $hitty u.s.a. standards of service. One can always dream right?
