Need help: Change of dates on Emirates

Hi guys,

Unfortunately I never use Emirates. I have a friend of mine, who is booked on Emirates on some routing FRA-MEL-FRA. To make things worse, he is now in Australia and I can't look at his ticket. So it is all a bit tidious. I think his booking Class is B. At least that is what I got out of him... It is in economy anyways and I'm sure it is not a very expensive ticket and the return was booked for Jan. 22.

He has spent a year in Australia and would now like to go back to Germany around Christmas. My questions now are basically: Is booking class B possible and is it possible to change the booking?

Any help/advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks ahead

Without knowing the Fare Basis (as stated on the ticket) it is impossible to answer your question.

The easiest way for your friend is to call Emirates and ask if it is possible to change the date.

Assuming that it is a B class ticket (which would make sense as it seems to be the cheapest ticket offered between FRA and MEL on EK, the penalties are as follows:

I believe any economy ticket on emirates is only valid for one year...so your friend might not be able to change dates... find out when when your friend fly out fro FRA
