Status Match from GF
 

I regret that I am asking this question. I imagine it has been discussed before. Unfortunately the forum search function seems offline. I have however, looked through the first 10 pages and found nothing.

I would like to know if Emirates will status match GF gold. If so, to whom to I need to send my status match request and what documentation do I need to provide? I was planning on sending my last year of activity to them.

My travel pattern is changing and I would find that EK would be a nice alternative. However, I do not want to give up my benefits (lounge access and priority check-in).
