Transfering points from another airline
Hi all
I currently have about 30,000 points with Skywards but this summer am doing a round the world flights with Singapore Air/Virgin/AirNewzealand which should earn me 30000. Could i transfer my existing the RTW miles to Skywards or can i transfer Skywards miles to another programme? Or would you recommend i do something else to maximise my existing points? |
There is a site on the web that shows you how many / what miles you can transfer between FF accounts - but the name escapes me. Anyone remember?
Also - you can redeem EK miles to fly on the following airlines: Continental Airlines Delta Airlines Japan Airlines Korean Air South African Airways United Airlines Cheers |

Why do you want to maximise your miles? Can't you have 2 programmes? Most people here on FT have more than 6 at any one time! Combining the points together will not make it better - especially when the conversion rate is not 1:1. Best to just use up the Skywards points if you don't want it anymore. |

It's a pity that you can't select skywards in the "convert from" box :( Cheers |

If the conversion rate was even something like 1:.75 I would consider it. To me 52,500 miles together is more valuable than 30,000 + 30,000 in 2 seperate accounts, but to each, his own. Cheers |
