J Class Row 6

I always travel EK usually 1st Class or business Class (row 7 or 8) when I go on my holidays.... Has anyone every travelled in Business Class row 6 where it is the only row behind First Class on its own then the Business Class galley area is right behind row 6. I just come back from Dxb in J Class have always thought row 6 was good as it would be a very quiet area. Nobody wanted to sit in that row on the flight so not sure if the seats don't decline as mach or there is less leg room.... can anyone elaborate for me

Thanks

I would avoid row 6 (the single row behind first class on the A330) at costs. An economy exit row would probably be better

It was atrocious, barely any legroom, I couldnt even straighten my legs at all. (I could in all other rows)

Plus side - good service, you get everything first. It is very quiet

See my trip report:

Cheers

On the 777-300ER Row 6 is part of 4 or 5 rows in the first Business Class cabin, I could not even TOUCH the wall in fron of me -- and I am tall...

a ittle disappointed in footrest not coming up higher - not sure if just that equip failure or std...

Otherwise very nice

The bulkheads generally are good in J class, not so good in F class. The exception is the A330-200 3 class

The footrest not coming up high enough is standard unfortunately :(
