On 6th Feb, EK9 is a reconfigured Boeing 777-200, which will be your best bet. EK1 and EK11 are also on new / reconfigured planes with ICE.

Cheers

Sadiq,

Do you know if it's likely that EK will have flat beds in F on either of the below flights?

21/4 LHR DXB EK4
22/4 DXB SIN EK432

If it's not a flat bed in F what type of seat quality is likely?

Also, what style of J class seat would EK384 (27/4) have?

Thanks for yur help,
Aztec.

Hi,

21st April EK4 is a Boeing 777-300 with the old F class which hasn't been reconfigured. The seat doesn't become flat, but you do get good legroom.

However this is one of the least favourable F class seats on the EK fleet.

EK432 on 22nd April is the same.
EK384 on 27th April is also the same. I would try and fly EK419 instead (unless you are flying all the way to HKG, in which case - nevermind)

Cheers

dxb-lhr on 26 feb

Apart from EK001 (as of now it is full - both Economy & business), will there be any other flight on 26th feb which will have ICE and improved Business class ? if so, what will be the difference between the business cabin in 77W and 773?

Thanks.

773 still has old seats and no ice.

No other flights on this day have ICE

Cheers

All three flights are operated by B777. The 777-200s have the new ICE system, the 777-300s will be upgraded in the near future.

Business class seats on the B777 are comfortable enough for a medium haul flight like LGW to DXB and are in a 2-3-2 configuration. As all of the flights ex-LGW are departing before midnight, expect a full service in J.
Have a nice flight ^

Welcome to FT.

If you have GDS access to seatmaps on Sabre or Galileo, you can check. Simply enter the date of your flight. For 3 class flights, look at F. If you see 2 rows, the plane has been reconfigured.

For 2 class planes, look at J. 6 rows means the plane has been reconfigured

Cheers

You can pay $40/month and get access from Sabre but you need a sponsor travel agent. Another option is to go to emirates.com and make a fake booking. You then follow the booking steps until you get to "select seats"

This only works for F/J though

HKG - BKK 27 May ICE or no ICE?

My fake booking showed a 2 class 777-300 with a row 7. As I undedrstand from previous posts, this means no ICE. Is that correct?
