Emirates - Question
 

Hi. Does anyone know what new routes emirates will be starting in the next few years? I know that they just started Sechyelles on Jan 2nd, and they are flying to SFO and LAX by the summer, but what about Toronto, Chicago etc. and other destinations???

Emirates does fly to New york from Dxb non stop daily, besides offering connection to Dallas with continnetal airlines.
For Toronto I don't think they'll fly to it any time soon.

Sadiq: My relative that works for Emirates says that they have plans for Houston, LA and SFO, depending on the success of the JFK flight. They also want to add daily flights from Dubai to Multan and Quetta in Pakistan and two more daily flights from Dubai to Karachi, making a total of 6-7 flights a day to KHI.

I believe they are also cancelling the SYD-AKL part of the DXB-SYD-AKL and adding a whole new flight DXB-BKK-SYD-AKL.

BKK-SYD from April 05
HAM-DXB from October 05
RIO 06 (I believe - someone mentioned this earlier)

My guess? AKL-LAX some time in the future (currently only QF and NZ offer direct flights).
