BKK-CMB on EK

I felt sure that EK had a non stop BKK-CMB but I can't find such a service on the web-site. Was it discontinued or have I spaced out?

I'd like to use a non stop to save a side trip from DXB on an EK RTW ticket that I am contemplating purchasing.

Galileo says that there aren't any.

UL 423 M T T S 09NOV-INFIN BKKCMB 915P 1135P 330 0
CX 703 T S 11NOV-18NOV BKKCMB 925P 1145P 773 0
CX 703 S T 11NOV-18NOV BKKCMB 925P 1145P 777 0
TG 307 S T W F 10NOV-24MAR BKKCMB 1010P 1230A+ AB6 0

But don't forget that EK has a stake in UL and has been part of their turnaround.

If worse comes to worse and you go to DXB, there is always Air Arabia for AED420 OW. There is a cheap bus from DXB to Sharjah; check www.airarabia.com.

Actually if you have to fly on UL, the service is actually better than EK's! Fares from BKK is cheaper on UL too than TG or CX. And since you're taking EK on a RTW, yo do know that their SKywards programme can earn miles on UL.

I don't think there ever was such a service, although EK do operate a daily a SIN-CMB flight. CX also do this three days a week.

The only other carrier I know of on the BKK-CMB route is again CX though it's only four times weekly.

This must be the service that I was thinking of ... I am in Phuket and I use both SIN and BKK as my gateway airports. I assume the SIN originating fare on the RTW is substantially higher than BKK.

Thanks for all the responses.

I am travelling SIN-DXB via CMB - does anyone know if you are allowed off the plane during the transit in CMB?

I travelled from DXB to CMB on the flight to SIN. In CMB the SIN passengers stayed on the plane.
At CMB lot of construction is all around, may be in future they will have a transit lounge.

Thanks for the info! I managed to confirm the same info with an EK F/A on another board. He said because there are no aerobridges it would take too long to bus the pax to/from the terminal.
