Pajamas in First?

Flying JFK-DXB-HYD in F Class. Can't get a straight answer on the pajamas issue.

Anyone know?

Not sure about the new A340, but never had them on any other F flight I have done.

I was on a CHC-SYD first the other day and asked about jammies.

They said yes they have them but of course couldnt spare any.

has anyone actually seen these elusive trackies yet?

what are they like. feel?
quality?
color?
size?

Im on a few flights in a few weeks and want to know if i should pack BA ones :D

Does EK do them on such a short route?

tinkybelle Aug 10, 2005 8:31 pm

NO
of course not!
but I havent seen ANY posts where anyone has actually received them on the syd-dxb either :(

I was offered them on DXB-Osaka and Osaka-DXB. There are two versions, a beige suit and a gray one. Essentially jogging suits. Very durable. Could easily be worn to gym.

Well, I did receive them on DXB-SYD-DXB last Jan/Feb and enjoyed it. The beige version both ways. I have two unused pairs of them, maybe I will sell them on ebay :) or I will wear them during boarding when flying in Y next time, hoping the crew will guide me in the wrong direction and double upgrade me by accident... :D
I wonder if they will offer them on my next A345 F morning flight DXB-ZRH next month.

Similar: Received basically a beige XL tracksuit / sleepsuit kinda thing on both DXB-SYD and SYD-DXB sectors.

...might also try wearing on boarding on the next LHR-DXB in Y.

Do they shrink?
are they a BIG XL or small?
I find the Qantas XL great whilst onboard but all of mine shrink 3 inches on first wash.
My next pair I washed in cold water and they also shrank. My BA first didnt!
come on !!!
please explain :D

I have received the exact same sleep suit on four F flights-- JFK - DXB, DXB -JFK, DXB - KIX, and KIX - DXB. All four flights were operated by the lovely A340-500 aircraft. Enjoy.

Keep the pyjamas !!!

Can you not take them with you? When I flew with Singapore Airlines I took the pyjamas with me. :D Is this against the rules?
