AMEX to EK transfer taking more than 2 days
 

I hadn't used my EK account for a while, transferred points from my (US) AMEX on Friday morning, still didn't receive it. Amex reps said everything is okay on their side. Can't reach EK reps (probably overloaded from what's going on in UAE).

Has anyone else faced a similar situation? Someone on here has mentioned that transfers on UAE weekends tend to be slower.

Strange that in 2026 points transfers are still not instant.

Late response but most recently it took 48 hours for mine to transfer. In the past, it was almost instantaneous.

Avoid transferring to QF and EK over weekends. For whatever reason, it takes 2-3 days over a weekend. I would do it Mon-Thur.
