Help changing F redemption

I have an F award HND-DXB-LHR to try the game changer F + new A380 F in November booked some time ago, that I need to change as I have a family engagement that weekend.

Could anyone help me find any available date(s) at all with availability for 1 person between now and February 2026 for either HND-DXB-LHR, or pretty much any routing that offers those two products (HND-DXB-JFK/CDG etc)? Hopefully that’s a wide enough net that there is the odd date available here or there.

Searching HND-LHR to change the booking in the new UI is now excruciatingly laborious to re-enter your search terms if the day(/week?) you chose doesn’t have any availability in that cabin and search through every week of the year individually, whereas previously you could page week by week to find a date. I also can’t do a fresh search for the individual segments to piece together a stopover either as I don’t have status.

Or is the website restricting me from even changing the booking as I don’t have status perhaps?

Thanks in advance!

You'll definitely be able to change it as I was able to change a DXB-BKK flight I grabbed as a placeholder the day before the change to the F award booking availability. Once my actual date opened up 30 days out, I was able to change it no problem as changes are free and unlimited as long as the route is the same and the seat is available.

I would suggest perhaps searching on Qantas as that will allow you to search more dates quickly.

has anyone tried after the implementation of a minimum requirement of silver for F rewards? I’d be careful if I were you, knowing ek it will be like booking a flight and the miles have expired and the trying to move it.

Yes maybe I wasn’t clear but that’s exactly what I did.

Has anyone tried this recently? Curious if it still works. Trying to change dates on an F redemption and can't find space, not sure if it's due to being non-elite or if there is truly no space.

Not a question of non-elite or no space, more likely no seats left in the redemption bucket.

If you are using the website to search then you will not be able to see space in F if not elite. It may or may not be there, if it is available they should allow you to change the flight.

Not sure about the impacts of the new status rule, but you could try calling. I had an F redemption from Dubai to the U.S., and wanted to see if I could move it forward by 4-8 weeks to any U.S. destination with availability. Of course it's tedious on the web site, but the phone agent was reasonably helpful -- she was able and willing to quickly search any U.S. destination for a couple-week window at a time as I called them out.
