Transit in Dubai - Security checks

Good morning
Does anyone know if passengers who fly FROM the UK to a destination in Asia via Dubai need to undergo security screening again in Dubai?
For example, if one flies from the UK to any international destination via Istanbul doesn't go through security again as the UK is considered as "safe" in terms of high standards of security checks. I don't know if it's the same for Dubai though.
Thanks

Anyone transiting in Dubai goes through transit security. These days it’s usually quick as they have the new type scanners which allow laptops etc to stay in your hand luggage. Passengers already ‘mix’ with others from different destinations as soon as they exit the airbridge so the advantage of ‘safe security’ at origin disappears at that point.

Apparently Mixing does not Matter in Istanbul, but the same applies at LHR if you come from Belfast.

Surely anyone arriving from Belfast like any other domestic airport the person was already subjected to security screening that is considered safe by HM Givernment, so I am unsure of the comparison.

A betteR example would have been a recent trail where certain flights to LHR from USA were considered safe and no screening required, but this is because we believe in the standards of screening at the departure airport.

In Dubai they have no way to split safe countries and not easily and various counties, UK included would not allow flights to their airports if screening was not completed. In regards Istanbul, I assume they seperate safe and non safe countries arriving so people cannot mix until non safe have been rescreened? If not I am surprised they are allowed to operate to various countries.
