I was on JFK-MXP and noticed..why is the Earth spinning in the wrong direction?
 

I think I deserve at least a free flight or points in my Skywards account for pointing this out don't you? I mean, as a female without a science degree but tons of time on planes...What say you Emirates?

The stars in the background are also moving, so this is presumably based on your flight direction and what it would look like to have a camera rotating around the earth in that direction.

An observer who was stationary relative to the earth would not see the stars move behind.
