Linking 2 Separate Bookings
 

Hi,

If I have 2 separate bookings, e.g. Booking 1: MEL - DXB, Booking 2: DXB - RUH, can I get both bookings linked at check-in at MEL and have my luggage checked through to the final destination RUH?

If they are both on EK, you don't need to link them, they will label through as you wish as long as the layover is <24 hours. If the second leg is a different airline, they may still label through, depending on any interline agreement. Generally EK are quite good at this.
