Oh great. Wonderful; is there any way to see on your site how many award seats are available for any of the stated/given flights? Is it really true that only TWO business awards seats are released at a time per flight? ...then randomly released again during random times of the year?

If you subscribe to the Pro version, you can select a minimum number of seats in each class. Seats.aero is by far my favorite platform and have been a subscriber since last year. I used it to book a RTW trip over Thanksgiving last year and used it again to book my next RTW itinerary in May: LAX-SYD-SIN-HKG-HND-DXB-GRU-GIG-GRU-SCL-LAX. It would have been very difficult to create this type of itinerary without seats.aero and kudos to @dlflyer00 for an amazing platform.

I am a Pro member...how do I set up to select a minimum number of seats in each class?

Dflyer00… seats.aero still hasn’t updated to a full 12 months out. It ends at 2/7/2024.

There is a dropdown feature in search under "PRO Advanced filters" and you can change the minimum number of available seats

Thank you kindly.

Always happy to answer any questions. We do support full calendar availability but only for routes with a green icon (shorter routes are excluded): https://seats.aero/emirates/routes

Are there any plans to add British Airways/Qatar or Cathay Pacific?
I see fight options via AA, AY and Qantas on BA/CX metal.

"lie-flat" vs "flat bed" vs "angle flat"

Mods, if there's a better thread/forum to ask this question, please let me know or move to that forum, please don't delete the post.

New user to seats.aero looking for an Aeroplan redemption and confused about how to short-list planes with business seats that can go flat. Confused about terminology - "lie-flat" vs "flat bed" vs "angle lie-flat".

1) In seats.aero, If search results for business class don't show the bed symbol, does it mean the business class doesn't have lie flat seats?

I tried looking up the plane on Seat Guru and it says "flat bed seat", however there's no bed symbol in the seats.aero search result.

E.g.
-Seats.aero lists a Flight on TAP Portugal - https://seats.aero/static/carriers/TP.png TP226, Airbus A330-200
-Seat Guru shows the following picture LINK - says there are five versions of this aircraft, some with "Angle-Flat" and some with "Flat bed" business class seats

2) What's the difference between "lie-flat" vs "flat bed" vs "angle flat"? My google searches, FT searches and Seat Guru searches have all come up empty.

Edit: although I found the glossary (LINK) on Seat Guru that defines the following for the TAP portugal flight/plane above, seats.aero doesnt have a bed symbol in the search result - I guess that leaves me a bit confused still - can anyone clarify?
Lie-Flat Seat
While airlines often market these seats as having 180 degrees of recline, in their fully reclined position they are slightly angled and do not lay completely horizontal. Passengers often find these seats to be extremely comfortable for relaxing and working, but not conducive to sleep when in the fully reclined position because of the awkward angle. This type of seat is only available in Business and/or First Class of certain airlines.

Flat Bed Seat
When fully reclined, these seats are completely horizontal, creating a bed that is fully flat. These seats always receive high accolades for being comfortable both as seats and beds. This type of seat is only available in Business and/or First Class of certain airlines.

On Seats.aero, we make a best effort to determine what cabin type the aircraft offers, but our database isn’t fully comprehensive. It may not appear for all results which just means our database wasn’t sure, or it could rarely just be wrong.

I don’t believe there’s any distinction between “flat bed” and “lie-flat”, or at least Seats.aero would treat those the same.

Thanks for the reply.

Based on your knowledge of aircrafts, do you think this plane (TP226, Airbus A330-200) has flat bed or lie-flat seats?

Maybe ask in the TAP forum? This is the Emirates forum.

Unfortunately the excellent aerolopa website does not feature TP. That is often my ‘to go’ source for seat maps / information.

TAP is there. Apologies for contributing to thread drift.

Seats.aero showing routings not able to be searched on emirates.com?

Anyone else seen this, wondering what I'm missing. I frequently see routings and availability such as LIS-DXB-SFO (one award) appear in Seats.aero's Emirates search but I can not figure out how to make those routings appear on Emirates website to actually book them (meaning Emirates website doesn't let you search for LIS-SFO). What am I missing?

I have never seen routings from Europe to North America via Dubai in any EK website search. My only explanation is that they would consider it an illogical routing. A multi city approach would probably work.

I think there's one or two in Eastern Europe but for Western/Northern Europe they don't publish fares because as you say it's illogical to fly so far east to start a westbound journey.
