flydubai crap
 

It's a shame that flydubai is not up to the standard of beung part of the Skywards program. It is the worst 'budget' airline in the region, bit its prices are not budget at all particularly in business class.

The flydubai staff appear to work at their sufferance, untrained and uncaring. Ground handling is utter nosense, being taken on an endless bus ride around the airport after suffering through a 4 or 6 hour flight. Misdirected luggage and no one to help you on the ground particularly a5 the useless DXB Terminal 2.

Food abd beverage in business class the same as 15 years ago or at inception.

Skywards loyalty points has to be Demanded before they give it to you! What a dorry state fir an airline!

Emirates management should take a close look at the absolute Disgrace that it's affiliate is.

FlyDubai is a painful experience indeed. I never understood why EK created FZ. Always thought it was because EK wanted to remain a "no single aisle aircraft airline".

Now we have to suffer through miserable codeshare experiences (everything is just complicated). FZ does not respect Skywards Elite status, often end up in middle seats. Prices are obscenely expensive (same as EK on routes they both serve), travel experience is underwhelming, ground bussing a pain in Dubai. FZ must be EK's most profitable operation.

Well flydubai was initially set up independently of Emirates and as a purely budget airline, albeit under the same owner. Once they became an alliance, the DECEPTION took hold, so it was no more budget given the pricing model, but serving largely different cities not requiring large bodied aircraft.
it is indeed the dogged failure to recognize elite Skywards status that is so frustrating. If you complain, they just do Not care! They may answer you once (if any), and tell you that we will deal with your complaint as "feedback" only. Feedback, my butt! They just bin it!!
The same wuth griund handling; the staff are careless and do not even try to address custiner complaints.
If one wants a budget airline, they are far better with Air Arabia ir other budget airlunes fkying from DXB or Maktoum, tgan flydubai.

I actually like FlyDubai because it's through Terminal 2 which is super quick to go through (as long as you have EK status). It's fine for 2-3 hr flights but what I hate:
1) The pricing is not that of a budget airline.
2) Cancelled flights are always given as a voucher. To make it worse, they charge a service fee for cancellations so even with the most flexible ticket you pay a penalty.
3) The long bus rides.
