Business Flex Upgrade
Hi,
I’ve just upgraded from economy flex to business for our flight from NCL - DXB tomorrow and was expecting it to appear as a ‘special’ or ‘saver’ fare, but it’s come up as business flex. I know I don’t qualify for the chauffer drive (being an upgraded ticket) but can I use the lounge ? Thanks |

No lounge. Unless you’re entitled based on your skywards status. Sorry to bring you bad news

To my knowledge, you should be entitled to lounge access if you used miles to upgrade. If you took advantage of a special offer sent by email that allows you to upgrade at a discounted cash rate, then no lounge access. Business saver/flex/flex plus tickets include lounge access.
In either case, no entitlement to chauffeur drive. Correct me if I’m wrong… |

Not sure whether they’ll know on first look but if you are entitled to lounge access, it’ll say on your boarding pass

Out of curiosity, how does the person at the lounge reception know how you paid for the ticket (miles upgrade etc) if it just says ‘business flex’ ?

Now that I have my boarding passes, I see clearly what you mean.
