So does anybody know the real details? Did they really fly 14 hours knowing they'd had an issue?

A bit more info on this in the above link. Honestly it's a non issue IMHO. The modern planes are pretty robust and it would not concern me at all . And yes the EK pilot made the right decision.

A bit more info on this in the above link. Honestly it's a non issue IMHO. The modern planes are pretty robust and it would not concern me at all . And yes the EK pilot made the right decision.
