Check in seq number 512 on 777?

Checked in for Fridays DXB-LCA 48 hours prior. Almost no empty seats left and the sequence number on my boarding pass is 512. How it is possible on 777? Or they will sub for 380? I do not think LCA can handle 380.

Flight has continuation to MLA so SEQ must be unique for both sectors on the same flight number departing same day.

Why this way? EK IT.

Ah, this make a lot of sense now. Maybe it also explain some weirdness with the seat maps.
