What about transiting? If I'm coming from PL and flying to the USA and just want to transit DXB (4hrs), do I need to get a PCR upon arrival in DXB? Or is that only for those entering UAE?

You won't need a test if just transiting, you'll follow the signs for transit which do not take you to the forced testing site around immigration.

Does the CVS PCR (NAAT) test qualify for entry into DXB? Looking at the previous one I had, it shows the following:
At the top: SARS-COV-2 RNA, QL, RT PCR (COVID-19)
Test results line: SARS-CoV-2 RNA (COVID-19), QUALITATIVE NAAT
At the bottom:
Methodology: Nucleic Acid Amplification Test (NAAT)
includes RT-PCR or TMA

Emirates PCR Requirement
Hello,
I have searched the forum but I was unable to find the answer.
I am planning trip to Dubai from IAD in June. Emirates web site says that PCR test is required, and it must be a "Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test, and that other test certificates including antibody tests and home testing kits are not accepted in Dubai".
I can only find RT-PCR test that can be done in less than 72 hours in my area. I understand that RT-PCR is just a variation of PCR test, but Emirates agent told me that they will not accept RT-PCR and I need to look for PCR. It is very confusing.
Has anyone travelled from US to Dubai recently and did they accept RT-PCR?
Thanks in advance!

Prior to leaving, I took the rapid diagnostic test -(ID now) at Walgreens and the results were back in three hours. The Walgreens website states "The Rapid Diagnostic Test (ID NOW) and Diagnostic Lab Test (PCR) provided by Walgreens are nucleic acid amplification tests (NAAT)" In DXB, we showed the printed results of the Walgreens ID now test prior to boarding for MLE and it was accepted. We were only transiting in DXB so it might be worth another call to Emirates to let them know that the rapid diagnostic test is a NAAT test.

I used this site a few weeks ago to find a PCR test right outside IAD that provided results by midnight of the day I tested. Looking at this site again, just now, it shows several locations that provide "16 hour PCR" tests in the IAD area (northern Virginia). I had good luck with the one I went to. It cost me $175 for the test.
