Using miles
 
Im part way through a return ticket. Are my miles for the outward flights added now, or only after I complete the full journey? If they are added now, could I use them to choose a seat in economy for part of the return journey? If so, how do I go about doing it online?

When you complete the entire outbound journey, then the miles for the outbound journey will be credited

I think you mean you would like to use your points for advanced seat selection, I don't believe it's possible. Best to wait T48 if no status
