Interesting, seems they decided to make it the same as agents. Probably had TA getting hammered with refund / change requests and customers quoting EK website. Probably decided make it same rule for all. Seems for anyone booking at present its free cancellation anyway so no worries in that sense

I have just transited DXB and spent 2 hours split between B and A FC lounges. Wow, it's quiet! Nobody in many of the duty free stores, easy to navigate the walk down the centre of all concourses. FC lounges pretty empty. The A lounge less so on boarding because J passengers now share the boarding from the RH half of the F lounge.
On board EK408 now, going home to a mandatory 14 day self isolation.
Whoopeee, can't wait!!!

This appears to suggest that they are expected to self-quarantine between flights but the 14 day rule does not apply if they have another flight. This seems to defeat the point of quarantine.
Later in the email, it seems to suggest that when you return from leave, you can break quarantine to operate your next flight albeit badly written.
crew are now routed through dxb (rather than hq directly) to get tested before being brought back to hq to get their luggage and go home

When I called yesterday morning (9am UAE time) to cancel a flight, I was told that I could either choose a voucher, which would entitle me to a full refund, or if I wanted a cash refund, it would be subject to the normal fare rules.

Do you guys know whether I can request a voucher if travel already started? Essentially I have a Mad - DXB - Mauritius - DXB - Mad. I have flown the outbound, but EK has canceled the DXB-MAD flight until the end of April. Of course, I'd like to find my own way back to MAD.
Can I request the voucher if I have flown the outbound sector?

Very impressed cancelling a Skywards miles booking 2 days ago using the online form. All miles returned to my account without service charge (as promised) within 48 hours.
