Currently the Best Skywards Credit Card (New Applicant)

So what's the boards general consensus on the best Skywards Credit Card going right now? A bit about me : I Fly Emirates 2-3 times per year. I do upgrade to Business when I can get it for less than $1700 or so each way. I put all my business expenses on my credit cards and rack up lotsa miles (I currently have over a million between various cards). And I'd use any and all miles for upgrades vs free tickets just about every time. Not averse to paying higher annual fees for the right rewards. TIA

There's quite a bit of discussion in this recent thread for UAE based folk, but as you don't say where you're from I don't know if it'll be any good.

EK Skywards Gold Status with ADIB (Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank)

I would just use the AmexPlat (5x on flight tickets) or Chase Sapphire Reserve (3x on travel and dining). Both transfer to Skywards 1:1.
pokeable likes this.

Isnt it 575 for the UK?

For me the fine hotels and resorts and the priority pass plus is a decent incentive . Before I was on the standard priority pass and had to guest the missus but now she has her own PP. And both of us can guest one person each.

But the fee increase this year is reducing the spend/ benefit .

It's annoying that we do not get the uber credit or the 5x points which would have been better than the 4x we used to get from the old EK MBNAAmex...

Add on the foreign transaction fee for UK cardholders and things get even more depressing. :-(
