EK IT Issues Thread
 
Hello everyone,

I am trying to price a trip from London to Bangkok but the website will not let me, have emirates stopped flying this route?

Warning:
  • Sorry, we were unable to price the selected itinerary. Please try different dates or contact your local Emirates office for assistance.

Can't seem to price/book flights at the moment - either via the App or Website.

"Sorry, we are unable to price the selected itinerary" for DUB-DXB or LHR-DXB.

Just me?

Cannot change password on Emirates website
 
Anyone else having this problem lately?

It seems like the password change page of emirates.com is totally broken for me. The page keeps refreshing every second or so, completely by itself, so I cannot change my password. I wish Emirates would spend some money on creating a usable website! I'm using Safari on macOS Catalina.

Does anyone have problems with filling in password details in booking?
I fill in expiration date in 2030.

When I click save it automatically changes to 1930. :rolleyes:

This also happens if you select a combination that cannot be priced (for example, a stopover of 31 days if the limit is 30)

That being said, I get technical errors now, too.

I can get in no problem. You don't seem to be logged into your account. Why not? Have you tried when logged in?

Trying to purchase seats for the family, card payment does not go through.

When I log in again, there is no way to access the seat map, the link to choose seats has disappeared.
Seats can still be seen for the return part though

I call EK, pay for the seats via phone, and once that is done, I can see the seat map again

Can't access the auto-upgrade/notification screen from my booking. The first segment is not EK but that's never stopped me before. I chatted with an EK rep and she said that upgrade online is now only available for Economy->Business (my booking is in J)?? I am not sure I believe that. The chat rep said I can always check with them and have them do it (I do have access to EF) but I am worried something is wrong with my booking.

Anyone experience this?

are you booked in business special? I get the same when I am booked in economy saver

All my EK segments are in "O" (business saver) so all those segments are eligible for upgrade if space is available. But my first segment is in a non-EK economy class... could this have any effect? This is EK IT after all.

Also, I can't seem to update emergency contact, passport info and contact info. The EK chat rep says "I can do it" so they don't have anything to escalate to IT. Ugh.

That would definitely have an effect. And dont count on olci for the same reason...

The corporate travel agency in their infinite wisdom booked what should have been one pricing unit SAN-SEA-DXB-HYD-DXB-LAX as two separate tickets SAN-SEA and the rest. One on AS stock, and one on EK stock. For more money. And then downgraded me to Y on SAN-SEA bc of corporate travel policy.

At least I was able to get them to let me fly into PAE since it's a separate ticket anyway (this issue with upgrades and data updates was happening even before that change, so who knows).

I never get OLCI on account of having a CPAP (sleep apnea) machine onboard, so no loss there. I have the miles for the J->F, guess I'll use EF and bother EK once availability appears.

Has Emirates stopped you modify your trip online
 
Been on the web app and mobile app for my October japan trip ,

On the mobile app modify your trip is greyed out , On the web site it’s not even there . Neither is the option to cancel.

Am I just rubbish on navigation or have Emirates disabled the section to stop offering refunds and/or processing cancellations .

On the mobile app it's not greyed out and still says "Modify Trip - Change dates or times" but I get a message after selecting it that I can't do any changes. That could be because it's already been changed twice and one future leg is cancelled however!

On the website the button is "Make changes" and it's not greyed out either although I get a similar message after selecting it.

2022 now, but I'm getting this same message looking for JFK-DXB availability in J or F. No issue when I look for seats in Y.
