Thought I'll check here to be sure. I have a EK flight coming up which is connecting on to a regional airline.
I have booked the entire trip on EK which has ticketed all the flights on EK
If the tickets were all booked on EK do I get the carry on EK luggage allowance for all the sectors including the last flight on the regional airline ?
The reason I thought I'll check is that it's a smaller aircraft with strict limits on carry on bag sizes.

When I have been in this situation(on one ticket and all EK flight numbers) I have been asked to gate check my carry on if it is too large for the overheads in the cabin. Actually hand in at the bottom of the steps to aircraft and collect there on disembarking.

Hey Folks,
I have an upcoming flight in J with my better half from JNB-DXB (EK766 on March 12). Unfortunately the cabin seems to be completely full and the only seats I could select are two separate, middle seats - the worst possible outcome as we aren't sitting together AND are in middle seats.
I phoned the call centre, but the agent said there aren't any "blocked" seats, so all he could do is put a note on our reservation for the airport at check-in.
Any other suggestions/ top-tips? If not appreciate the opportunity to just moan!

Row 9-11 J/K are the so called ‘code share seats’, they are blocked for SAA code shares. More often than not, they are released. 6A/B (and 6E/F) are blocked in case a bassinet is required. That seldom happens and they get released.
My advice is to start checking very regularly from say T-5 days (probably best via the app) and pounce when these are released. I find it hard to predict when this will happen, I have seen it at different moments. I would predict better than 50/50 odds that you’ll snag such a pair. Good luck!

The agent seems to be wrong, but he can’t ‘unblock’ at this stage:

Can also pretend to be hopeful for an upgrade as we are on Flex-Plus tickets!

Is 1.25hrs enough time to transit in Dubai between LGW-DBX EK012 and DBX-SIN EK404?
Seems like tight timing.
Thanks in advance

Newbie here -- looking at booking a Skywards award in F from JNB-DXB-YYZ. Found F on the first leg but only see J available for the DXB-YYZ. I can't seem to find a 'mixed award' booking whereby you book in F and they upgrade the second leg when/if F becomes available. Also, unless I book both legs separately, I can't seem to book it at all on the Emirates website. Any advice? Travel is in August but hoping someone has some tricks of the trade to share.
