25K or 7K on A380 J?
 

I want one of the close-to-window seats in J and have a choice of 25K or 7K - any tips/advice on which to choose? Would prefer to be more in the middle of the cabin.

7K is pretty far forward, conversely 25K is pretty far back. 7K is closer to the center of the aircraft. 23A/K are best

7K and 25K are the only seats left

I'd go for 7k.
You don't have the foot traffic passing you back and forth to the bar.
I know it's a hotly debated topic on FT - but personally I really dislike the rear cabin.

Depends on how many trips you will need to make to the toilets..

It's a fairly long way to the back.

Day flights and if I am not planning a long sleep then I'll choose 25k.

If overnight flight and plan is to sleep then 7K

I would go for 7K as well. The curtain separating the bar and rear cabin is frequently opened and closed and the light usually hits rows 25/26 especially when the bar is being used a lot.

Completely agree, I have never understood the love for 23 A/K on here.

25K and use earplugs/eyemask if required, but knowing the complete route and timing would have helped. You'll likely want to go to the bar and toilet so make it easy. The K seats are away from the aisle so passers by isn't an issue.

7K for me as I prefer getting out quickly.

Well I did start with completely agree...!

But to elaborate... With 7k you will have zero foot traffic after take off apart from the odd person trying to use the F toilet so pretty good privacy and less chance of disturbance. Plus the obvious advantage of being first off the flight.. seems a no brainer to me.

Depends on if you are wishing to look out of the window as I think 7 is over the wing
