How many refurbished Emirates 777-300s?

I've booked a flight on the 777-300 in first class because the Emirates website shows the new suites for all aircraft in the 777 fleet.

I now discover that there may still be very old aircraft with the original FC seats.

Can anyone confirm how many have had their refurb completed?

When you say “new Suites” are you referring to the new product that is in a 1-1-1 layout or the refreshed old suites in a 1-2-1 layout? The brand new 1-1-1 suites are only available on a handful of planes (less than 10). I know Geneva and Brussels are two consistent routes that offer them. Other members might be able to provide more info on other routes. Also they aren’t planning to update existing planes with the new product. It will only be on newly delivered 777s.

Yep as mentioned fewer than 10 have the latest 1-1-1 suites. All have at a minimum refreshed 1-2-1 suited, fully enclosed with doors (except at the top).

GVA, BRU, STN and HND are the routes that get the new F daily. FRA does often but I think slightly less consistently

Thanks for your replies. So all the cabins have been updated, just not to the 1-1-1 config? Even the oldest 777s now have the full height doors?

No, only fewer than 10 have the full height doors. Majority of aircraft have a 1-2-1 layout where none of the suites are full height

Ok, I think then that Emirates is misleading customers as all their website copy shows the new suites, with full-height doors.

What route are you flying?
The last generation F in 1-2-1 config is perfectly adequate, and even though the doors dont stretch floor to ceiling, privacy is definitely not an issue.

Auckland > Bali > Dubai

I just wanted to fly in the new suites. The photos the website shows for this flight are the new suites, so I think that's quite misleading.

I understand the urge to fly the new suites of course.
But out of curiosity, where is it showing the new suites on your route?
Last time I booked with Emirates on their site I dont remember cabin images during the booking process.

I can't post URLs, so please put this URL together

emirates dot com/english/experience/woyf/?flight=451&date=2019-09-08

All the photos of first class show the new suites.

This is a common feature for many airlines unfortunately.
BA has been known to show longhaul business product while booking euro business for example.

Its annoying but not a lot you can do about it sadly.
I suggest a membership to expertflyer so that you can check these things out ahead of time without relying on the airline site.

If possible I would suggest switching to the A380 from AKL instead. Much nicer ride.

I am looking at at flights 430 DUB-BNE on a 777 on 4 Dec and flight 434 on a 380. Under the page ‘Whats on your flight’ the 430 clearly shows differentiated photos of the new suites and the 434 shows the current suites.......?

What layout when you select seat for these flights?

1-1-1 6 seats F
or
1-2-1 8 seats F ?

This should be a good indicator if the route use new F (still no guarantee)

I booked SIN - DXB - VIE for January 2020 and DXB - VIE - DXB legs show 6 F seats on selection
SIN - DXB DXB - SIN leg is using a380
