Can take up to 7 days. So your definition of “a week ago” needs to be a bit more precise. Plus you need to remember that on Friday government services are closed. Then there is the normal weekend in ZA and did you use an agency or not. All factors in the timing of your visa.

Assuming you used the EK visa service via MMB did you upload everything and pay? What does the status say when you look it up? Usually takes 48 hours for me (working hours). As mentioned this week virtually everything has been closed in DXB due to Eid.
