To the people that caused the bar to be closed on EK22 today

I don't want to talk to you no more! you empty headed animal food trough wiper!

I fart in your general direction!

Your mother was a hampster and your father smelt of elderberries!

Now go away or I shall taunt you a second time!

Initially I thought you were referring to the GLA-DXB flight, and the passengers had consumed all alcohol before takeoff.

You can't post a thread like this and not elaborate.

Not the first time it happened, isnt it?
I remember hearing the onboard bar was closed due to a brawl and iirc it was a flight to Machester?

Not specific to this but it wouldn't be the first time. Last time I was on EK19 the bar was closed after a group of brits were having too much and even tried to take an entire bottle from the F/A.

Worst of it I had jumped on the flight last minute and had a seat towards the end near the bar. Zero napping.

Does this happen more often on the MAN flights compared to LHR etc?

Of course I wouldn’t dream of regional stereotyping .... 😉

There was nearly a fight on an LHR-DXB flight that I was on a few years back. Lots of "hold me back" type comments when a woman complained about a group surrounding and leaning on her seat (on a B777).

It's the first time I've had an issue on a MAN EK flight - although there have been obviously been reports.

There tend to be more issues from "holiday centric" airports such as MAN / LGW / GLA. Not just on EK obviously.

I don't recall that specific incident. I'm sure it would have been reported in the local press.

I've been on a 7am EasyJet flight to Amsterdam where a fight broke out on final approach.
